Attorney Gregory Huckaby joined the Law Offices of M. Colin Bresee nearly 10 years ago as an intern while attending the University of Denver – Sturm College of Law. Greg obtained his Juris Doctor in 2018.

During law school, Greg was a member of the Criminal Defense Clinic, which allows approved law students to represent low-income defendants in real cases while still in law school. Through the Clinic, Greg gained valuable trial experience and obtained not guilty verdicts in every trial he participated in.

After earning his law degree, Greg continued working at the Law Offices of M. Colin Bresee until he was officially sworn in as an attorney in June of 2020. Because of his prior trial experience through the Criminal Defense Clinic and his legal experience working with Colin, Greg immediately began handling cases ranging from first-offense DUIs to cases carrying potential life sentences, alongside Colin as co-counsel.

Having handled nearly 1,000 cases, Greg has conducted more jury trials than many attorneys will handle in an entire career. His extensive trial experience, combined with his lifelong passion for criminal defense and zealous representation of those accused of crimes, allows him to provide clients with the dedication, preparation, and advocacy they deserve.
